A wedding brings together people from every chapter of your story. sip & play gives them a few questions to laugh over while they raise a glass to the next one.
A wedding game that fits between conversations
sip & play is a free wedding trivia web app. Guests scan your QR code, enter a display name, and answer questions about the couple on their own phones. There's no app to download, no guest account to create, and no need for everyone to start at the same time.
Each guest plays at their own pace and sees their score alongside the wedding's leaderboard. It works as a small cocktail-hour activity, with room to step away and return to the conversation.
Your questions. Your celebration.
Sign in with Google to create an event. Start with questions personalized with the couple's names, then change the answers or write your own. Choose anywhere from 1 to 50 multiple-choice questions, from the first date to the stories only your friends know.
Add your date and venue, choose a cover photo or line art, and adjust the colors and welcome message. Preview the game before publishing, then share the event link or download its QR code for your tables. You can manage multiple celebrations from the same account.
A guest book to keep
Turn on the optional guest book to invite a memory, a wish, or a note after trivia. Notes are private to the event's host, not posted on the public leaderboard. Download them as a text keepsake or a CSV for your spreadsheet.
Guest-book notes remain after trivia results expire, until you delete the notes, event, or account.

Is sip & play free?
Yes. Creating events and playing trivia are free. Account event limits apply; you can see your available capacity in your workspace.
Is the game on the homepage a real wedding?
No. Emma and James are our fictional couple. The demo leaderboard combines sample players with your own score, so you can try the experience before creating your event.
Can anyone find my wedding?
There is no public event directory. Anyone with your event link can play and view its leaderboard, so share it with the people you want to invite. Managing the event and reading guest-book notes requires the host's account.
Do guests need an account or an internet connection?
Guests don't need an account, but they do need an internet connection. Their place is saved in the same browser. A completed trivia attempt can't be played again in that browser; using another browser or clearing its storage can create a new attempt.
